What to expect

 

Thai Massage is completely different to Swedish massage; it is much more physical and involves a series of assisted stretches similar to those used in yoga. The massage is performed at a level suited to you & your years with you fully clothed & lying on a comfortable mat on the floor.

 

Thai traditional massage is suitable for all ages and for both men and women.

 

It helps to wear loose and/or flexible clothing for the massage, especially below the waist, as parts of the massage involve manipulation of the legs.

 

A floor area roughly the size of a double bed is required. I will provide a comfortable clean mat and pillow.

 

The massage will be of a strength and intensity to suit your preference, age and fitness. If you have any concerns, preferences or questions please contact me and I will do my best to address them.

 

Be Organised

1. Arrive on time for your appointment.

2. Wear loose fitting clothes.

3. Ask any questions you may have before, during or after your treatment

4. Refrain from eating for 1 - 2 hours before your session.

5. Take a deep breath and relax into this wonderful cultural experience.

6. Drink a lot of water after your massage

 

Please cancel your appointment if you have the cold, flu or any other illness. You should consult your doctor if you have any concerns as to your suitability for massage.
